Zoe is a sculptor and artist based in North London. She began stone carving after meeting a group of amateur carvers working out of Abney Park Cemetery in Stoke Newington and is predominantly self taught.
Zoe's work is inspired by shape and form, particularly those taken from nature and the human body. As a keen artist, she has been developing her personal style over a number of years and has recently begun to expand her portfolio by incorporating traditional wood carving techniques into her work.
She frequently works using reclaimed stone from restoration sites making use of stone that would have otherwise gone to waste and instead utilising its natural qualities to produce new art.
